Each shortcut in the shortcut bar has an icon. Click the icon on the shortcut bar to open a view of the item. You can add a shortcut to the shortcut bar for each item you are allowed to view. |
At the right-hand side of a view's title bar a small icon shows what item is displayed in the view, even if the title is not clear. If the view is an explorer view, this icon shows which item is displayed in the top right-hand pane. |
At the left-hand side of a form's title bar, a small icon shows what item is in the form. Click the icon to find the program menu. The program menu typically contains the following commands: Restore, Move, Size, Minimize, Maximize and Close. |
When you have a view open, you will find a small icon in the console's toolbar. This is the same icon as in the title bar of the view or the form. This small icon is the New button. Click this button (or press CTRL+N on the keyboard) to create a new item. If the icon is disabled, you are not allowed to create a new item of this type. |
| In various forms you find fields that refer to other items. For example, the Caller field in the Service Call form refers to a person item. The Quick Find button to the right of such a field again shows the type of icon that the field refers to. Use the lookup item button to the left of the lookup field to act on the item in the field. |
Click this button to find a menu from where you can change the toolbars.
